Allied Health Services

We offer allied health services to people, with the aim of maximising their independence and enjoyment of daily life.

What is allied health?

Allied health professionals work in the areas of therapeutic, diagnostic and preventative health. They function in many different roles including disease prevention and control, dietary and nutritional services, maintaining mental and physical health and rehabilitation.

Our allied health disciplines include:

  • physiotherapy
  • occupational therapy
  • music therapy
  • speech pathology
  • podiatry
  • dietetics
  • social work.

What services do we provide?

Allied health professionals provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice in their areas of expertise.

Our allied health services provide:

  • rehabilitation services
  • health education programs to assist clients, residents and carers
  • assessment and / or advice about equipment such as wheelchairs, mobility aids, orthotics / footwear, communication aids and home modifications
  • a focus on prevention, early intervention and management of chronic disease.
