Our Old Timers Aged Care Service in Alice Springs sits on the same grounds as Old Timers Village and Flynn Lodge. There are 68 beds, with a mix of single and shared rooms. There is a memory support area and transitional care bed available. Respite is supported with two dedicated beds. Adjacent to the residential aged care facility are 36 independent living units with access to in-home supports from your choice of service provider.
Old Timers has large outdoor spaces to facilitate outdoor activities and opportunities for social gatherings with friends and family. Activities and outings are arranged with residents to enable access to the community, local places of interest and events. There are always opportunities to engage with other residents in the activities room or enjoy quiet spaces for rest and relaxation.
At Old Timers, we understand the importance of emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing and respect individual choice and independence for the people we support.

A varied program of activities is in place, including games, arts and crafts and regular outings in line with our residents’ interests.
Health care
Podiatry care is standard. Residents’ choice of GP visits regularly and there is access to allied health services including (but not limited to): occupational therapy, speech pathology and physiotherapy.
Food
Our onsite kitchen caters to both Flynn Lodge and the nearby Old Timers home, providing a variety of nutritious and appealing homemade meals.
Dementia care
Our Memory Support Unit provides services for people living with dementia.
Respite care
There are two respite beds available, and one for transitional care.
